Web Changes

This is where we'll announce the most recent additions to our web site. If you've visited us before and want to know what's changed, take a look here first.

August 25, 2010:

  1. Thanks to all who attended the 8th Year Celebration:
We've left the link up so you can still see this year's honorees and sposors. If you'd still like to donate, click here.

  2. A message from Managing Director Chris Alonzo:
It's true - the front page told you no lies. Our ninth season will be our final one in our current space at 52 White, after five wonderful years. We have lost our lease, and hope to relocate somewhere in the neighborhood so we can continute to offer the shows, school performances, classes and birthday parties that have made us a part of the Tribeca community since 2002.

But this is no time for sad faces! We are calling this season our Victory Lap; one last chance to round the bases in this space that's treated us so well and been home to such unforgettable theatrical magic and memories. And the magic is going nowhere: I've long held the philosophy that a theatre is just a really big, empty room until you fill it with brilliant people doing amazing things. So we're bringing back as many of those brilliant, amazing people as we can, all those people whose effort and imaginations made this such a great company in the first place. You'll see a lot of familiar faces onstage, and read a lot of familiar backstage names in your programs. And then we'll pack up our suitcases with nine years worth of princess dresses, oversized cookies, turtle puppets and animal ears and go somewhere else. The show must go on, and all that.

So, huzzah! And with a little luck and a lot of help from you, our audience, who make it all possible and make it all worth it, we'll land on our feet somewhere new. Onward and upward.
