Meet Our Education Director!

  Jodie Pfau

Jodie Pfau is thrilled to be with MCT for her 4th season. She began working with MCT as an actress in "The Elves & The Shoemaker." You might also recognize her from the MCT stage as Rabbit in our MCT original "The Velveteen Rabbit," Eliza in our other original "Lula Bell in Search of Santa," and the snake in "Rikki Tikki Tavi." Now as Education Director she coordinates and teaches the after-school acting classes, summer camps, and hosts birthday parties at the theatre. In her first year in this position, one of her acting classes caught the attention of documentary film makers Stick Figure Productions, who included her 4 week improv class for middle schoolers as part of their untitled American Family Documentary for HBO. She has been working with children ages 3-16 for 11 years in MA, CT, VT & NY as a teaching artist, director, and classroom teacher. Jodie holds a BA in Theatre from Fairfield University and will soon receive her MA in Educational Theatre at City College, where she collaborates with many talented and passionate theatre educators and is happy to invite them to assist and teach various classes and workshops at MCT.
